Over four decades Paniyiri has grown to become Queensland’s signature celebration of all things Greek – a stunning success story for the little celebration that started in 1976 when a group of passionate Greek Australians wanted to share their cultural traditions with Brisbane.
In this sharing spirit and flavoiiurs and, the 2019 Paniyiri Cookbook has been created so Paniyiri lovers can create their favourite Greek recipes at home. This collection of recipes has been lovingly curated with help from some very special people and places – acknowledging The Ladies Auxiliary of St George, Earth Markets, Nostimo, Helen’s European Cuisine, Voula’s Kitchen, Thermomix, Alexandrea Living, The Fish Factory plus many more.
